be bold, pop the question

What floral services do you offer?

Eclectic Blooms is a florist specializing in weddings and events. I also love creating whimsical and bold floral designs for businesses.

Some of my favorite occasions to design for are:

  • Weddings

  • Bridal showers

  • Dinner parties

  • Business launch parties

  • Corporate events

  • Styled shoots

  • Magazine editorials

Who do you work with?

Our favorite clients are creative couples and brands who want to show off their style and wow their guests. They appreciate flowers as nature’s living art, and want me to embrace a bloom’s wildness during the design process. They also appreciate collaborating with a professional, and trust us to grow their seed of an idea into a full-blown vision for their event.

The Eclectic Blooms floral studio is based in Annapolis, MD. We love working with couples and businesses in Annapolis, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and other DMV cities.

Are you the real deal?

I’m mostly a self-taught florist. Though I’ve taken numerous courses and have worked under some of the DMV’s top florists, I do not have a design degree. All of my skills come from natural talent and lots of hard work learning in the weeds.

How much does it cost to work with you?

This is such a hard question because so much goes into pricing a floral job. This is why we don’t have pre-set packages — every single design is custom to what you want and need for your party or business.

Still, I know that having a ballpark price helps. Our typical couple spend $3,500+ for a wedding with 75 – 100 guests, $4,500 – $6,500 for a wedding with 100 – 150 guests, and $6,000+ on a wedding with 150+ guests. We work with budgets lower than that, too, so your best bet is to reach out and we can chat about exactly what you’re looking for.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

Not exactly. While we don’t always have the capacity to create single bouquets or arrangements, we do love designing for intimate events like elopements and dinner parties. Please reach out to tell us a bit more about what you’re looking for, and I’ll do my best to make it work!

When should I book a florist for my wedding or event?

We recommend booking us after you’ve started to make a few key decisions about your event, such as the date, guest count, budget, and color scheme.

I’m ready to book! How do I reserve my wedding date with you?

Yay! First things first, we need to know when your wedding date is to confirm that we’re available. Assuming we’re free, I’d love to chat with you to hear more about your vision for your day and your floral needs.

Once you’ve decided Eclectic Blooms is the florist for you (fingers crossed!), all we need to reserve your date is a signed contract and a deposit. And don’t worry — just because you’re signing a contract for now doesn’t mean we can’t change your designs later. Everything is flexible up until a few weeks before your event date when I have to order flowers.

I’m confused. What’s the difference between an arrangement and an installation?

A floral arrangement is something that is hand-held or goes on a table, like a bouquet or a centerpiece. A floral installation is quite literally installed in your venue space. That might mean it’s attached to a wall, window, or altar, hanging from the ceiling, or could even be free-standing.

How are you protecting our planet?

As a florist, sustainability is really important to me. We’ve gotta protect Mother Nature so there are more flowers in the future! To help with that, I like to:

  • Select in-season flowers

  • Work with local and organic flower farms when possible

  • Reuse and recycle materials whenever possible

  • Donate your florals to local nursing homes and shelters after your event is over

  • Composte
